Case Stude - 1: Saran Swayam Sahayata Samuh
Introduction
“SARNA Swayam sahayata samuh ” was formed dt. 26-06-2016. The Secretary of this group is Mr. Hira Murmu, Treasurer is Mogli Kishku and President is Ms. Basti Kishku. Group consists of 10 members and were trained for leadership and basic training by SARDA (Social Action for Rural Development) in the month of August.
Location
The SHG is situated in Baliguma village of Mango Block of East Singhbhum District.
Objective
To present the SHG model as a source of livelihood generation support mechanism to the needy women’s group, by enhancing the socio economic condition of the members.
Earlier Situation
All the members of these groups are daily wage labourers, and were totally unaware and out of practice of saving, credit linkages collective decision etc.
Present Situation
As they got training from SARDA (Social Action for Rural Development) they enthusiastically started working together. The members of the “ SARNA SHG” are now organized are practicing regular meetings, weekly savings, maintaining financial records, credit linkages with bank , following all guidelines of NULM, taking collective decision in resolving issues of the SHG members. Now with the credit link these women are planning to initiate the work of TAHILA MAKING within the SHG.
Conclusion
The members of the SHG are very active and these women are also motivating others to join them and be a part of the change that they desire. These SHGs are also playing a major role in generating awareness on need of good health habits and quality education to Children. Their approach towards life has become more positive and determined to grow economically and socially with collaborative support.
Case Stude - 2: Jeevan Joyti Swayam Sahayata Samuh
Introduction
“Jeevan Jyoti Swayam sahayata samuh ” was formed dt. 05.05-2016. The Secretary of this group is Ms. Lata Sandil, Treasurer is Pyari Roz Meri and President is Ms. Pusph Toppo. Group consists of 10 members and were trained for leadership and basic training by SARDA (Social Action for Rural Development) in the month of August.
Location
The SHG is situated in Jharkahnd village of Mango Block of East Singhbhum District.
Objective
