Majhiaon is one of the small town located at north of the Garhwa district of Jharkhand at
Longitude 24 19 28 N and 83 48 59 E . It is situated at the bank of North Koel river.The total land
Area is about 42.70 sq.km.
It has got its ULB status in 14 September 2007 . Currently, there are 12 Wards within the Majhiaon
ULB.
Agriculture is the main source of income of its people .A major cattle market is organized on every
Wednesday.
According to 2011 census, total population of Majhiaon is 18349,out of which total male population
Is 9485 and female population is 8864.
